Engineering Job Fair

Lviv’s Polytechnic University is all ‘geared up’ to host the 11th Engineering Job Fair from 25 to 26 April. Organised by the BEST student group, the event will attract representatives from more than 40 companies in the fields of information technology, electronics, auditing, education, and engineering. Eventgoers will be introduced to their companies and currently open vacancies. Since 2007, Lviv Polytechnic has been hosting the event that offers students programming like workshops, engineering competitions, and employer introductions.

Ukraine vs. Hungary Europe Conference Rugby

Lviv’s renewed Unist Stadium will play host to the Rugby Europe Conference game between Ukraine and Hungary. The Europe Conference is the third-tier rugby union competition behind the Championship and Trophy leagues.

Kvitka – Familiar, and Yet Still Unknown

A special concerts dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the birth of the incredible Kvitka Cisyk will take place at Lviv’s charming M. Zankovetska Drama Theatre on 28 and 30 April. Born in the USA to a family of Ukrainian emigrants, Cisyk studied at the New York Conservatory, where she mastered vocal technique and perfected her voice – a very rare coloratura soprano timbre.

The Great Gatsby Ballet

Lviv’s beautiful Opera & Ballet Theatre will play host to the amazing Great Gatsby Ballet Show on 23 April. Based on F. Scott Fitzgerald’s popular novel and Baz Luhrman’s Oscar-winning 2013 film, the show brings to life the riotous and pleasure-seeking world of 1920s America. Featuring dancers from renowned international ballet companies, the characters embody the jaded society of the filthy rich, living in a frenzy of jazz and opportunity, but whose world is superficial and empty of real emotion.

Carpathian Oil & Gas Conference

Lviv’s newly-opened Grand Hotel will be the site of the Carpathian Oil & Gas Conference on 17-18 May. The conference will bring together representatives from companies operating in the Carpathian region, including Ukraine, Poland, Austria, Hungary, Romania, Czech Republic, and Slovakia. The event will focus on advanced technologies for geological survey and exploration, production of oil and gas, well stimulation, well workover and recovery services, infrastructure development, and trading in oil and gas.

International Dog Shows

Lviv will be the place to take in two international dog shows on 12-13 May – the Lemberg Cup and the Olga Nizova Memorial. Both shows are family-friendly affairs where you’ll be able to meet hundreds of dogs, chat with owners, and watch world-class competitions.

Razomfest Literary & Music Festival

Lviv’s popular Razomfest Literary & Music Festival returns for a fifth event on 12-13 May. Razomfest is a forum for artists, scholars, writers, musicians, and anyone interested in the fusion of music and literature. Focusing on modern Ukrainian literature, the festival aims to stimulate creativity and originality and reflect the intertwined connection of music and literature through a selection of performances.

City of Professions

Lviv’s picturesque Ivan Franko Park will morph into a City of Professions on 19 May, a place where children can try their hands at over 60 different professions. The mini-city will offer children city passports and their first ’fun’ money to experience some role-playing fun while their parents relax in the park.
