Lviv is famed as a city of coffee-lovers and every  year Lvivites get together to pay homage to the drink  which has united the city throughout the ages. Coffee  Day this year fell on October 19, with Lviv welcoming  the King and Queen of Coffee, who festively opened  celebrations on Lviv’s historic Rynok Square. The  King and Queen then embarked on a royal passage  through Lviv’s rich ensemble of coffee shops and  cozy tea rooms. Lviv’s coffee royalty sat in judgment  over the offerings of the city’s finest coffee emporiums  before declaring a brew prepared by Viennese  Coffee House the overall champion coffee.
