Each year on December 1 the world remembers the  victims of AIDS and holds events to raise awareness  of the threat it poses to all of us. Ukraine is among the  worst-hit countries in Europe and has seen a big increase  in AIDS awareness activity in the past few years, and for  2008 Lviv’s Salus foundation organised an eye-catching  AIDS-themed fashion show which attracted much media  attention and provided an impressive platform for the  region’s anti-AIDS message. A total of seventeen collections featured in the show, which also starred Olesya  Kirichuk of the hit Ukrainian TV talent show “Chance.”
