On December 16 Lviv National Opera and Ballet theatre  played host to a festive charity event organised by Ukrainian  opera legend Volodymyr Gryshko. His musical fairytale  entitled “St. Nicholas to the Youth” was performed for a  full house of young Lviv kids from the city’s orphanages  and disadvantaged home as well as from the surrounding  region. Among the highlights was a performance from  the youth dance collective of Lviv’s State Children’s Music  School №6. Tenor Gryshko himself then donned a Santa  Claus outfit to dish out holiday treats to lucky Lviv children.
