On December 16 The European  Business Association held their final networking event of 2008 at Wok restaurant  in Lviv’s Eurohotel. Chairman of  the EBA Lviv Board Klaas van der Veen  was on hand to lead the celebrations  and raise a toast to the work of the  organisation and its membership over  the past year. Mr. van der Veen pointed  to the number of new members to have  joined the EBA’s Lviv branch over the  past twelve months as an indication of  the favourable business climate and a  sign that there remains plenty of reason  for optimism despite the harsh realities  of a stuttering global economy.
