Lviv’s growing reputation as a regional speedway hub grew in September when the city’s SKA track played host to an international competition featuring participants from seven countries: Ukraine, Bulgaria, Poland, Russia, Romania, Hungary and Italy. Ukrainian pride was boosted by the victory of local boy Volodymyr Dubrynin (pictured) who is one of the sport’s up-and coming local talents.
